Back to work!

Well, I am officially back to work.
It's only a few nights a week and it's not that bad.

As a mom I have a job 24 hours a day, which my children take full advantage of some nights. It's endlessly rewarding everyday as I watch them grow, learn and interact with each other. The best part of the day is not only when they say I love you but when you look at them and they are truly happy. I love being a mom and I am so thankful that I have 3 wonderful children to bless me with their love everyday.

Going to work outside the house is sad but still rewarding. I miss bedtime which is always a valued time with me and the kids. Being the last I love you and kiss of the day makes me go to bed smiling. The kids are with Daddy though and they really enjoy the alone time with him. Hearing my name and not mommy just for a few hours is nice although I do feel guilty for saying that. Being able to balance work and children and lets not forget about Sean isn't always easy but it always works out. Sean is such a wonderful husband and father and has made it kind of easy for me. Working is almost like a refresher to step out of it for a little bit and take a breath. Last night I came home and daddy had everyone in bed we talked without getting interrupted and went to sleep. I felt like an adult. Please don't tell my children.

I love my life and my family I love that God has blessed me with such joy.

May 2 2009 My girls big day!

Saturday turned out to be a great day. The weather was beautiful, the communion ceremony was wonderful, and our first BBQ/party at our new house was a hit.

I have to admit that I cried several times during the day just because my girls are growing up so fast. First thing in the morning when they woke up Faith wished Kenzie Happy Birthday and Kenzie came back with oh Happy Communion day to you sissy. So we all got ready and headed to church. In the Church while looking at my 3 children who were more then well behaved I felt truly blessed and honored to say that yes, they are mine. It's funny how people realize you have 3 kids and look at you funny. (That's a whole different post though) Then we were leaving the church the girls were walking hand in hand to the car, and I just couldn't believe that this much time has really passed. As many of you know Faith was 3 when Sean and I started dating so it hit me a little hard.

Anyway we came home and started getting ready, Sean had to go back to work but I had more then enough hands to help. Thank goodness.

Here is the cake my mom made Kenzie. Yes, it's a real Barbie and the dress is the cake. She did such a great job.
My girls with their cakes.

My favorite man and my little guy. Even he looked grown up with his Khakis and button down shirt.

My girls. I will cherish this moment forever, they looked incredibly cute.

Our family picture, there is a better shot but I couldn't find it in the file, I will post it as soon as I do.

May 2, 2009 will always have special memories. Thank you to everyone that came and shared our day. To those of you who couldn't be here we were thinking about you.
